1 750w sub better than 2 or 3 300w subs?

Would buying 1 sub with 750-1000rms sound better than buying 2-3 subs with maybe 300rms or more a piece. This would be going in a vented enclosure.

Depends on the enclosure, the quality of the woofer, the care of the install, the amplifier chosen... The list goes on. There is no way to tell you which will "sound better"... No way.

Perhaps a list of choices thet you may be considering would be helpful... No, it actually WOULD be helpful.
