Hi all,am new to this forum and to car audio items as well. I recently was given a pair of 10'' punch speakers installed in an enclosure.I removed the one and noticed that they were rated at 450w max and am now trying to figure out what amp I can get to drive these speakers at their best.Maybe something I can buy at Best buy or a local radio shop would be nice as I don't play on E-bay or other online shops.

I have been reading alot of info on this forum and most of this info is good but way beyond my scope of knowledge in this subject.I drive a Semi and am wanting to be able to hear the radio over the noise of the truck. Not looking for clarity as much as just being able to hear the damn radio when i'm driving.

Thanks for any help,nice site!

Sorry for not giving better info here. 2 Rockford Fosgate 8 ohm 400w peak/200rms.

I was looking at a crunch 1000w that a local shop had and was just wondering if anyone could give some insight before I decide.

As stated earlier i'm just starting to figure this all out.If I install these 2 speakers in parallel then i'm going to end up with a 4 ohm total and will only use up half the rated power of the amp?
