I currently have 2 10" alpine r dual 2 ohm VC.  I am wanting to get a real good amp, something that will last while being able to push these to their potential.  I was looking at the MTX TA91002 ($400)  and its specs matched up with the alpine at 500w rms per sub....so my question is, does anyone have any suggestions as to what amp would be good for these subs?  I do not know much about MTX, or really any amps for that matter. Anyone have any experience with these higher end MTX amps, they cost a lot of money so I dont want to get something im unhappy with.  I do know that I had a Kenwood but it fried somehow..

Thanks for the Help!

Nick

i would honestly go and pick up a alpine mrpm1000, around the same price and a little better quality.
