Has anyone ever heard of this company. I saw some of their amps listed on ebay. They have 1 that is a 2000 watt mono amp which has 2 50 amp fuses. Just wanted to hear opinions on this company.

Quantum Audio is a sister company of DB Drive. They make cheaper stuff for the same quality, supposedly. IMO their products are exactly that -- "lower end".

Yea. I managed to get onto their website and saw that their woofers arent that great. They are made of paper cones and foam surround. In my mind, thats cheap.

2X50=100
100X14.4=1440
1440X.8=1152

That is NOT a 2kW amplifier. It can't be.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

There is nothing inherently wrong with paper cones and foam surrounds.  Some of the best speakers ever made use paper cones and many very fine speakers use foam surrounds.

  add up the fuses multiply that by the voltage at the amp terminals, and multiply that by .80 for a class "d " amp, And .60 for class "a/b " amp and you will have TRUE  WATTAGE ............... like HAEMPHYST stated.

not really true wattage...just a rough guestimate of the potential power
