heres the skinny. my old setup was 2 kenwood kfc-w3009 12 inch woofers with a kenwood kac-7251 amp. i wasnt planning on upgrading anything but i came across an offer i couldnt refuse. i purchased 2 audiobahn aw1206t 12 inch, audiobahn a2200hct amp and a 1.0 fared cap. heres the problem im having being sort of new to these things. the amp draws alot of juice to run. my 99 accord has a crappy battery. the amp cap will work on short bursts but i listen to alot of long basslines. i dont want to ruin my alt. so instead of buying another battery and thicker wire(i have 4 gauge installed) i wanted to use my kenwood amp with that amp cap and the audiobahn speakers. will this be a reliable setup? i realy dont want to start breaking stuff. thanks for your help

While it is debatable whether Kenwood or Audiobahn makes the lower-quality gear, you can literally use any amp with any speaker.  Just make sure to set the gain properly and know when to back off the volume knob and you will be fine.

if you drive a low quality car like a honda accord then your not gonna want some hi-end stereo system to rattle every peice of sheet metal and plastic screw in the vehicle till it falls apart. you think i would be able to run the audibahn amp with that cap and not have any problems? i dont wanna upgrade my wires but i will if i have to.

What you need to do is have the system installed, have your headlights on, and check to see if they dim during bass notes. Its very possible that your alternator isnt powerful enough for the system.

do a search on google for h/o alts, i was surprised at the amount of decent amps for hondas etc. bear in mind if its to cheap its junk .a decent h/o alt for my ride was 200-250$. my cars a 1984 caddillac elderado limtd. yours may be more? or less. i do have caps in my car ,but they are not the right way to go. they are a bandaid. i have 2 x1000 cca batts{truck batts}. along with 2 x1 farad caps. the alts next. my current system will be running around only 900-1100 watts. its not in yet but im sure im ok,more is always better. dont skimp on the power, and ground wire either this will make a big diff.

The cap won't do anything...yeah it will dump some power for the 0.0001 seconds then its done. Sell it on ebay and buy a new alternator.
