Hello,

I am pulling the stock head unit out of my SHO with the prem JBL sound (amp sub etc..). I want to tap into the inputs of the JBL amp from the RCA"S of the head unit. I am guessing the output from the head(ford) is low volt like RCA's. I did it years ago but for got with wires i cut and tapped into. Any help would be great.

Yes you are correct, the output from the head unit is low-level, however the output from the factory amp is obviously high-level.  What are you trying to accomplish doing this?  Are you putting in an aftermarket head unit and still retaining the use of the factory amps?  If so you should use an OEM integrator harness, but first lemme ask you...what year is the vehicle?

This one uses the aftermarket head unit's speaker outputs instead of the RCAs but it'll still sound the same.
