I need to integrate an auxiliary input on the factory radio. This vehicle has the factory cell phone,6-disc double-din indash and it has on-star. I may end up replacing the head unit so I need any ideas on keeping all the other stuff active. thanks in advance for your reply

there are units called i simple (sold at best buy, frys, circuit city) that gives you a aux input integration.  and also some units called dicelinks.  not sure what stores carry those, had them at a custom shop in salt lake city, but you should be able to find them in your area..
