I have a rockford fosgate 12" shallow mount running at 2 ohms of a p600.1 amp and I want more bass. I was thinking about getting a JLW6 do you think this will make a difference?

First off.... why the shallow woof?  Tell us more. Do you have the space limitations typically needed by shallow subs. posted_image

KarTuneMan I have the shallow because I had space limitations on a truck but now i can have any subwoofer size. So I really don't need a shallow sub but that is what I have so i have been using it. I hope this helps.

A shallow sub is a great concept.  If of course you are driving a standard cab truck.  I have yet to hear a shallow sub come any where near the performance of a standard depth sub of the same size. I really think the W6 will make an improvement.

Do you think the RF p600.1 is enough power? I will be running a single 2 ohm woofer.

That depends on you and your listening habits.
