My friend just installed an aftermarket flip out on his 2007 GMC Envoy Denali.  He installed it himself and says he loves it.

However, he said that the warning beeps, like when you turn the car on, have been amplified.  He said that the noise is loud enough to be pretty uncomfortable.

Obviously it has something to do with Onstar/GM's running every damn thing through the radio, but any clue on how to fix it?

What integration harness did he use to retain the factory chimes? We need to know everything.
