Some how my post got all scrambled. Here is is again. I'm looking for 2-ohm components since my amp is 2ohm happy in stereo (amp Sony XM-4S) . I was looking at the Infinity 60.9cs. Here are the specs. Can someone tell me if these numbers look good or not? also if you know a better 2-ohm set up I would like to know that as well. Money is not an object. Car is a 01 Mercedes SLK230. Thanks

I find that Infinity makes good speakers ,which ever you choose .I would go with the Infinity Kappa 60.9cs .I use the Infinity 6000cs which is the componet 6.5 inch but a older model and it sounds clean to me.There will be some people disagree and name some other brand, but the truth is there are several brands that are good IMO .The top of the line Alpine ,Boston and Polk all sound good ,it is the crossover in componets speakers that makes the difference. Some have ajustable tweeters and the cut off slope of 24db ,which makes a cleaner sound between the mid and tweeter.IMO the speakers you have listed are a great brand. But IMO I would have went with a better amp.

The infinity components are on my wishlist, people I talk to always have good things to say about them, except the kappa perfects for some reason. The numbers you posted don't make much difference for the most part since they are designed for an infinite baffle mouting. The numbers you should pay attention to are frequency response to see how low they go so you can match them to a sub, the impedance to match your amplifer, and the efficiency measured in ##db. These have very high efficiency and match your amplifier's impedance, so you're in good shape.

If you want something better, look at a higher price range. Diamond Audio, MB Quart, and so on. Also, you could upgrade your amplifier to something decent by Eclipse, Alpine, or even McIntosh since money is no object.
