slot port length?

I was just wondering if when the port calculator figures the length out if that is the total length from the front of the baffle board all the way to the back of the port.
So lets say it comes up with a 13" port length, do I subrtact 3/4" from that to get the actual dimention for the port legnth?

 the 13" port length is TOTAL  port length .if you use the baffle as part of the port than yes sutract.  .75 if not than dont .......just keep in mind that is the TOTAL port length
