support your local audio store. Not bb or cc, but your local store.

I got an Infinity 611a off Ebay for  $120 after shipping I had the Kenwood kac 9152d (rated 900watts rms @ 2ohm) before the Infinity 611a (rated 656watts rms @ 2ohm) And the Infinity is way I mean WAY louder and more punchy.

I have 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 12 VQs in a down firing ported box tuned to 32.5 Hz. In the trunk of my girlfriends 95 regal. When I  turn it up it tickles my throut and inner ear. And my trunk flexes like theres someone in there trying to kick there way out. As far as spl goes I'm not sure of the numbers but my buddy has 2 alpine type r's in a ported box and the Alpine  mrd-m1001 amp (birth certificate says 1085 watts rms @ 2ohm) and mine is real close we really cant agree whos is louder. Some of these amps rms ratings are bogus there are only a couple companies that I really trust with rms ratings.Honestly I never heard a cadence or ppi

Also I've learned spl is achieved when you have a quality speaker slightly over powered (like 10-50 watts) with a very well thought out enclosure. Definently go ported if it is done right you will have the sq and spl.

I would recommend the Cadence amp if you get the dual 4 ohm woofer. Then in the future if you want another one, you can wire it to 1 ohm and you will have the ability to get 1000 watts rms out of that amp. But it's huge, thats the downside.

ok cool. mjp1980 i am getting the same setup as you. i have a pioneer deck. thats all i use. and i wanted to get the 7541 4 channel and a mono infinity amp. only differance is im a bass head and am goin for spl thats why im gettin an l7 instead of perfects. i think im getting referance highs and mids too just cuz they sound real good and arent that much lower than the perfects. for the price.

I have a set of the reference 6x8s in my work van with 100 watts going to each one. Sounds like i have a small bazooka tube in there.
