So I've finally got around to throwing together a setup in the new camaro, this is also the first setup I will have ran in about a year.

I ended up buying a set of Hifonics HFi12D4's, to push them I purched and MA HK1000D 1000wrms @ 1 ohm.

Now before the flame fest begins on MA here are the reasons I have chosen this amp. I have owned 4 MA amps in the past, all of which were really decent amps. Granted definitely not the best but I've had way worse. I had an HK1998 that I was running 4 MA 120QS's off of at 1ohm, a pair of Orion HCCA's I beat the hell out of that amp for a year without any problems. Their customer service has also treated me right and far better than any other MFG i've used.

Basically what I'm asking for is your opinion on the HFi12D4's. I know they are entry level which is honestly all I need at the moment. I'm kind of out on a limb because I'm not sure what to expect out of these as I've never touched hifonic products at all. Construction seems to be fairly decent, anyone have any hands on exp. with these woofers?

to be honest ive never heard any thing bad about MA or hifonics. and what do you care what the 12 volt gods say? if they sound good to you and you like the products go with them. everything ive posted going in my ride ive been told is garbage. well its still going in. ive never used the products you have im an alpine-infinity guy. im sure some one will say those suck too. if they work for you go with it and wiz off you neighbors lol.

Haha, I've used MA for about 3 years now and have been satisfied with their equipment. Mainly just wanting a few views of the HFi12D4's as I've never ever heard a pair of hifonics and my amp isn't here to power them yet :)
