i am currently planning my next comp car  and pretty much  know what proucts i am going to use but would like input from other reliable sources.  i am doing a strictly SQ system.  And this will be going into a 91 civic hatch.  what would everyone  do in their opinions for their "dream SQ system"?

The rear seats have been taken out so i only have the two front seats.  a lot of room to play with as far as a hatch goes.  so  lend me your opinions.  what would everyone do?

Here ya are... 2200+ WRMS of ICEPower bliss! Sure not show quality INSTALL, but show quality SOUND!

This is the fifth system to go into this particular car, and I love it more than anything else I have ever had, even the all Nak (amplified) system with dual 12" stuffed TLs in my '86 Civic.

I'd like one of the new B&O 7-channel surround systems, mainly because it is only available in the new 2009 Aston Martin DB9, so to get the sound system somebody has to buy me the car.  Volunteers?    posted_image

i have never heard of Seas Lotus.  i will have to do a search on them when i get home as my comp here at work is very limited.

DYohn.

yea that would be nice add me to that list of needing a volunteer to buy it for me.   but out of product availiable to the normal consumer what would your system be?

Throw "Hertz Mille" on that list, they seem to be all the rage in the SQ lanes these days.

Haemphyst is teasing us by using the Adire Extremis and the USCPro's since both have vanished! Too bad about Adire.

The Zapco Dig. Reference is worth a look at to fill the USCPro spots. You can tune from the front seats with time alignment, EQ and X-over functions. You can also recall presets. HU to Amp to Speakers. Done.

Hertz has been making a name for themselves. Might be worth looking into a Hertz/Audison combo!

Dampening is one thing I thing everyone will agree on. Get as much noise out as you can. Start layering!

They aren't as "vanished" as you think:

BTW, I know where a pair of 4 ohm versions are available.

Call me crazy, but I prefer my stereo equipment to stay dry.  Seattle sure did keep my car well dampened. posted_image

Most things in Seattle seem a little over-dampened to me.

I think he was talking about sound deadening

Zapco is having issues...... All of their reps have been "let go" they are having some dollar problems.... This from my friend who is (was) the rep in the Northwest.

There are alot of dealers that will be looking for something to replace Zapco with, in their product lineup.  Your having financial problems so you get rid of the guys that bring the money IN, to

save the money going OUT.   Does this idea really work?????

my spelling is a bit "rusty".

It would be a shame to loose Zapco. The gear and customer support has always been top notch.

I agree with your position.  They aren't just "downsizing" to save costs...instead, it would seem that they are done with business-as-usual.

I was assured, without a doubt, that Zapco is not in danger.
