need to know where a hole in the firewall of the car is to run power wire through. Also just bought kicker ZX1000.1 amp. Was a little offset when i saw that there are not any fuses on the amp , but it did come with a icker fuse holder that has a 100 amp fuse in it. So do i wire that in line with my power wire and other fuse holder on power line or use it to replace the existing fuse holder?

depends on the car? most of the time its on the left hand side of the car behind all the nice ac stuff. i had to remove the inside of my gloove compartment to get better access to it. mine was a huge bundle of wires with just enough room to get some 4g through. another option is to run your wire under the car. then come up through the bottom of your seat. this will need to be tied up ext well and put into some split loom. we put ties and apoxy on the loom not the wire so when and if we needed to get to it. the loom would stay and the cable would come out. either way is not a 5 min job l8r

It's wherever you decide to drill a hole and install the snap grommet that comes with your amp kit posted_image

there is a big grommet on the drivers side that you can make a hole in and i will run through fine.  it is in the upper left hand side of the firewall from the inside view.
