My friand has 2 phenix gold amps and one boston g2 10" sub. his sub was was working untill today. I checked the amps and the left amp had the green led but the right one had the red led. how do we fix his system? Thank you

Troubleshoot the amp with the red light and see if you can make it green again.  If you already did some troubleshooting, let us know what you have and have not checked.

the amp is heating up when its on. the wires and amp are fine. the fuses are not blown. the sub just stopped in the middle of a song.

The amp that is heating up is broken.  You will have to remove it from the system, and use the single, probably still working amp to power the sub.  Is the woofer a dual voice coil woofer, or are the amps strapped to a single voice coil?
