hey my deh5000ub has 3 sets of RCA outputs front,rear and sub. I was wonder if i could connect an active crossover from the headunit without an Equalizer. Will my sound system sounds as good? Urgent answer needed thanks.

Uh, maybe.  Perhaps a little more information would help, like what exactly are you planning to use it for?

i am planning to to use it to power 2 front speakers,2 rear and a dvc 10" 4 ohms kicker CVR.i will be using an 800 watt amplifier 3 channel. thanks for your reply

What is the model #'s of the speakers in question? What about the "800 watt amplifier 3 channel"? And lastly, what about the "active crossover" in question.

Your headunit as well as your amp should have all the crossovers you'll need...

As far as better sound, I doubt you'll notice any difference in clarity. It won't be any louder, also.

well i what i really want to know is if the system will sound good with my headunit ,active crossover and amplifier with out an Eq.
