Hey guys, well on my quest to pick out a system for my explorer today i came across a store that had mainly Diamond stuff and Eclipse stuff. Well i had never seen anything posted about the Diamonds before so i was skeptic. The sales guy definately knew his stuff. He wouldnt even let me listen til i told him what i had looked at before and what i wanted out of a system. Told him i had planned on 4 10's with roughly a 1000 watts on them. So then he said ok, go listen to his car first, then come back in. His car is in the beginning stages, still factory stereo with just one amp and sub in it(so far). This thing pounded, had superb sound quality, nice full, deep, smooth bass. All from 1 10" Diamond sub with about 500 watts on it. Now i didnt get the model numbers off it but he said and showed me that it was their lowest grade series, and man these things are built solid. Just thought i would pass this on to everyone since like i said, i hadnt seen these subs mentioned before and i will let you all know how mine turn out when i get them installed in my explorer!!

One more note for all the bass heads, one interesting thing about this store is what they called the bass room. Picture a roughly 5X5 room with 64, yes 64 12" eclipse subs in it. Then put in a cd with the lowest bass i have ever heard and crank it. The ceiling tiles in the building were bouncing up and down a full inch!! It was completely insane.

Diamond makes some nice stuff for sure...the Hex components sound great, and the new TDX sub line is supposed to be awesome...

apparently, the TDXs are comparative to the w7/Brahma/IDMax lines...might even be worth looking into...

I looked up there site since i didnt know the different models and such. The ones i listened to that blew my mind away was the CM3 series, bottom of the line and i'm still amazed of how much that one 10" did. They had the other models there, the M6's i didn't get no info on and the TDX, they had 2 of those sweeties still in a box, none out for display. TDX was like nothing i had ever seen before with the way they were designed, but at about $700 and 2000 watts to power just one i have no use for those babies. They were putting those 2 in the owner of the companys car along with a custom built 4000 watt amp to drive them, not sure what kind of amp. I didnt get a price on the M6's but the CM3 10" ran $130.00 each. But from the sound i heard i rate them up with higher models of other brands i've heard. His one 10 killed my 2 12" JL's, but mine are the W0's so cant expect too much out of them i dont guess. But the CM3 10" are rated at 400 watts each so for someone whos on a budget but wants some subs that kick some serious butt they are definately worth a listen to.

that price on the TDX seems a little high to me...I know that I can get them myself for about 450 CDN per driver, which is about 300 USD...so 600 USD a pair, and that was for the 12s too...

sounds a little better than the 700 per that you were talking about...ask them what kind of deal they will make you...
