i have a 15" rockford hx2 that i just reverse mounted on a shallower box that it had and i lost sum bass. i connected the + and - reverse but im not sure if i have to switch the 0* or 180* phase on my headunit or amp. oh and i have the sub wired at 1 ohm and i dont know if i need to re arrange the wiring on this too or just leave it how it is. please help!!!!

If you only have one speaker there is no need to wire it in reverse polarity.  What do you mean you "lost sum bass"?

its doesnt hit as hard as it did in the sealed box that i had it in. it gets distorted when i turn it up at the volume that i used to beable to listen to it at.

You downsized the enclosure airspace?  So you're comparing output as it is now to what it was in a larger box.
