i know there is a way, and im sure its easy but can somebody please just tell me how? i have the kenwood kdc-mp235 head unit and it only has one set of preamp outputs which, my rcas for my sub r run off of. is there a way i can run a 4 channel amp for my his and mids from this one set of preouts?

You can use y cables to split signal off rear rca's between sub amp and 4 channel amp but you wont have control over front or rear channels separately, they all will be the same volume. You could get a line out converter off front and run a set of rca's off it and have control over front and rear but no control over sub independently from rears. Use y cables off rear and like I stated, line out converter off front.
Or you can save up and replace head unit with one that has 6 channel output. Front, rear, and sub all controllable from head unit.

The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya
