Thank you
do it the old fashion way. use a dmm. it will tell you you constant, acc, ground, dimmer. a 9 volt battery will give you your speakers. the radio usually use yellow for battery, red for acc, orange for dimmer, i am sure you could figure the speakers out

Right Front (+) Grey
Right Front (-) Grey/Black
Left Rear (+) Green
Left Rear (-) GREEN/ Black
Right Rear (+) Violet
Right Rear (-) Violet/Black
These are your vehicle wire colors:
Constant 12V+ Pink or Pink/White
Switch 12V+ Red or RED / White
Ground Braided Cable or Vehicle Chassis
FL+ Green
FL- BROWN / Red

Double check each lead in the vehicle with your meter before making any connections. If your vehicle wire colors are different, you can do as mecpinstaller suggested, measure for power first with your meter, then either use an analog meter or a small battery (9 volt or smaller works fine) to determine your speaker leads.

You can use the DMM but never assume that just because a wire is yellow it's a constant wire. If you did that in a Toyota then you would not get any power as this is the speaker wire. What you can do is buy yourself a wiring harness and this will simplify everything for you. They are only about 7 - 10 bucks and you can go here for the wiring diagram for your Jeep:

well good point velocity motors, but alot of older vehicles actually get there factory harness cut into from hack jobs or backyard installers. a dmm will tell you everything you need to know. colors of wires mean nothing. it just the casing. if you touched a dmm to a speaker it wouldn't give you a reading.
