I just got one and while reading the manual noticed that it says if your reciever has a built in crossover you have to run it off a full range output (ie. front or rear-unless ya go high level, but that sucks.) Anyway, that seems counterproductive. Can I hook it up to sub woofer output on my jvc kd-avx33 and be good? What's the real deal on this?

I think in order for it to work correctly, it has to see a full-range signal. It's a bass PROCESSOR/RE-PROCESSOR, not just a crossover.
Without seeing the fullrange signal, it may not process the signal correctly, and give you who KNOWS what as an output...
------------- It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Yeah, now that I think about it, you do make sense. I called Audiocontrol on this (great company to deal with) and was told to run it off the front set of outputs. I hooked it up that night and if it is even somewhat correct, gained like 5 db from it.
