Well we blew another Arc Audio 12" sub that makes 3 in less than 4 months not impressed with them at all. It was set up by the store on this one with the amp they recommended. The Arc audio 900.6 they had it bridged at 4ohms in one of there sealed boxes.

Now they are wanting to sell my brother-in-law a Power audio sub I have never heard of them? Any good...I am thinking he should get one of there JL audio subs.

The amp puts out 550rms bridged at 4ohms it's not 2ohm stable.

As it stands I really like there amps just not there subs POS.

Sounds like you need to patronize a different store.

Going from the response, that Power Bass sub is just what I thought it was a even bigger POS then the Arc sub.

That shop also sells JL audio but they push Arc are not fond of JL but I think if they do not give him his money back and do that store credit thing I am going to have him go with my first thought the JL sub since I have heard of them and know they do make good subs.

Well see if I can talk my brother-in-law into the 12w6 with a new box if not that one then the next step down in there line up. Well see what happens.

Any thoughts?
