Hey guys I have a question about some power cable.
I have about 22ft of 4 gague power wire that I am getting from a friend. Its the blue "Kolossus Kable" from Knukonceptz.com
It says: "Kolossus Kable 4AWG Blue Power Wire features 2058 Tinned Strands of Pure Oxygen Free Copper. "
What does "tinned copper" mean? Obviously its tinned copper but how good is it? Does it have any advantages or disadvantages?
Im planning on using this for "The Big Three" since 150 amps is the max of the cable, which is way less than what my alternator puts out and is also less than what my car will ever need with my system. I am also planning on using this as my main power cable for my JL 500/1 amp.
Is this good cable to use for both applications?

Your basic speaker wire with one copper colored conductor and the other conductor is silver in color, the silver conductor is tinned copper. The strands are coated with solder to give it a silver color.
You said the 4g handles 150amps max, right? You also said you're planning on doing the Big3 with this, yet your alternator puts out more than 150amps? You also said your system will need larger than 4g.
I'd double-up each wire, for the Big3 AND your actual amplifier power cable. Just be sure to fuse EACH positive wire AT the power source(s) with a 150amp or smaller fuse.
