Dumb question....

Eventually I plan to add a sub...so when I do I would like to use high pass filter.

My HU and 4 channel amp both have High pass filters.  Do I use both in tandem at the same frequency cutoff or shouldI just use one or the other.

6 1/2 component speakers in the doors

6X9's in the rear

Thanks,

One or the other.

-------------
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

The current 4 channel amp will only be used for the speakers already on hand.  Seperate amp for the sub.  I'm guessing I will not want to use the HU's high pass filter, and use the amps high pass filter since it has seperate settings for front and rear.
