Someone broke into my car and stole the aftermarket stereo I had intalled. I am having trouble installing a new stereo. It seems as if the person that stole it cut off my antenna wire. After much searching, I was able to find the antenna wire but it is too short to extend to the radio. What can I do about this? It's going to be pretty hard to connect a new wire to it but if I can, what kind of wire should i use?

Would i be able to attach this: https://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productid=2102836&cp=&sr=1&origkw=motorola+solderless&kw=motorola+solderless&parentPage=search on to the broken end and add a new coaxial cable in the other end? then where can i find the adapter to make it fit into my stereo?
