I'm shopping around for a new amp to hit my L5 off properly. I have the DVC 4hom model 15's and I want to be able to run them Series/Parallel to get a 4ohm load. I'm looking for an amp that will give me around 1000 to 1500 rms at that load. Now I have a Lighting audio 1000.1D that's capable of giving me the 1000 rms but only ath 1 ohm. I wanna try and avoid running at the low of a load. So I've been searching and searching the web looking for the right amp that will give me the power that I need in 4ohm, so let me know what you guy's think about these amp. Also, I'm trying not to go over my budget that I have for the amp, which is $800.
Here are the amps(names and spec)www.etronics.com: 1)SoundStream PIC1.1400D Picasso Series 1 Channel Mono Amplifier price: $419.99 TST™ (Twin Stack Technology) 2 amplifiers to drive one voice coil effectively doubling the power. These are the three amps that I found tonight online and thought I would share them with you guys to get some opinions on these amps since I've never used their products before. Also I'm really intrested in the Memphis MOJO amp. If anyone know where I can find this amp online or someone selling them for less than the $1300 I've been quoted on then please let me kow
