wiring up 3000 watt premier

ok hers the deal. I have a dual 2 ohms pioneer premier 12 in a sealed box......i just bought a memphis mojo 2400 watt class d monoblock amp. Im driving a blazer with a stock alternator. Would it be a good idea to run a battery in my trunk to my amp instead of hookin  it up to the main battery or how would i go about wiring that amp up with a 105 amp alterator......i want maximum sound . I know i need a 200 amp in line fuse because the amp itself has no fuses.

Your going to need a high output alternator to allow that amp to run at full potential for more then 5 seconds at a time, if you don't start saving for one now, I can guarantee, you'll need one in a month from now when your stock alternator bites the dust.

You should do the big 3 wire upgrade under the hood with 1/0 gauge wire, then 1/0 gauge fused at the battery anywhere up to about 300 amps then run to the back, then you will need a fused distrobution block that can accept the 1/0 gauge input and hold a 200amp fuse for your amp, then run 1/0 to your amp if it has the connectors for it.

either your stock alt will fry or the amp will too.
