I have had a couple 3 series BMW of various model years that wont pick up radio worth a damn. I have a 92 JDM 3 series that wont get AM period, I have a 97 328 that wont get anything on either fm or am 20 minutes outside the city and I had a 2003 318 thats very similar. On all these vehicles I have tried to replace the antenna adapters and have tried several decks, including changing brands all together and also just trying direct replacements. Anybody have any ideas on these things.

what i use alot of the time to try and releive that problem is use an amplified window antenna . alot of install companies make them. (i.e. metra scosche etc.) so i would try that to see if it works for you. good luck
