the back of my  sub box gets a decent amount of flex. it also happens that my amps are mounted to the back of the box. is all the extra vibration going to damage my subs in anyway? and should i be having this much moving on the back of my box?

box flex means a very poorly constructed enclosure...it can and will damage the amp.

You need a new box and this time put braces in there to stop the flexing. Your subs will be ok but you are going to destroy the amps pretty quickly with all the vibrations on them....components will literally shake themselves off of the circuit board. Seen it happen many times and made lots of money off of people doing it by replacing the missing components.

It won't damage your subs, but like said before, if you box is flexing it was not built very well.

How bad is the flexing? Definetly move your amps and fix or get a new enclosure.
