hey i have been cruising the site routinely. i signed up today because i now have a legit question. where do i start my research fo muitl driver door panel installs?

from a to b. the pros/con on sq

how they are wiRED / crossedover?

you get the drift.

i see them in the install galleries, but not talked about.

i ask because i am trying to decide to leave the system as components or add a midbass driver as well.

thanks i have got a lot of info from the site already and hope to give a lil back.

What you are talking about is a custom fabrication job.  Fiberglass (typically) is custom molded to replace or modify an existing door panel with what's required for the system being installed.  Think a kick panel in your door.  As far as pros/cons, it depends on the system and how it is setup.  Realize that it's not as simple as slapping in two sets of coaxials or components.  For proper system integration and sound quality, it must be designed with all driers taken into account by the crossover system.

Why don't you post what you have in mind and maybe we can help guide you.

thanks for the push. the car is a suzuki xl7. 6.5 in the doors. tweets on the dash. i want a mid bass, component set front stage.

its not an over tthe top system so if simple components will improve my front stage im all for it. i do know that i will be relocating the tweets.

about to glass the sub enclosure. so hopefully the practice will help if i do door panels.
