I have the pleasure of attempting to yank the radio out to get the serial # off of the radio to get the security code from the dealer.

I have never seen one of these cars apart, OR pulled one myself. I have pried on the vent across the top....it poped off, but

the radio and heater controls....... I don't wish to snap a 5 hundred dollar chunk of Japanese plastic. Can anyone tell me "FOR SURE" how to

get the radio out ????

Thank you gentlemen.

On the 3.2 TL the only real challenge other than the 40 or so screws, is the heated seat controls. When you get to a point on the 3.2, you say to yourself Oh now I can get it out. Not so, you are only half way there. I wish I could tell you more. It is probably a total pain, but the second one will be a piece of cake. Dealership probably charges 250 to do what you are doing.

The TL and the RL are totally different. There are no seemingly visable panals to pull off

from the sides....and nothing on the front. I'm guessing it pulls out..... but again, I just don't know!

keep em comin guys......

if im not mistaken, you should be able to take  the rest of the panels off from behind the shifter.

-first, you have the center pocket ,take those screws out and you should be able to slide the center pocket back and expose a new layer of screws that attach the back of the shifter.

-unscrew the center section and the that should expose yet another layer closer to the bottm of the center console in front of the shifter

-the side pieces that extend to the center radio bezel should be attached wth some screws along the sides of the inside of the shifter area and toward the column (like an accord almost)

-after that you should see the mounting screw for the center section i believe and the radio mounts like an accord radio I believe.

I thinks that for the TL off the top of my head, Im not currently looking at . although iamanidiot is right in that there are eleventy-billion screws to pull out

good luck hope this helps.
