I read a post by i am an idiot yesterday about this. Its so the glass (AGU) fuses don't get so hot, by using 2 instead of one!
Works nicely!

You have only had it for a day and you already know it works. They must have really been giving you trouble before. I am glad it helped you.
Did you simply take the initial fuse value, and divide by 2?

I upgraded my ground to 4g, also. The power and ground were both 8, and the longest of the two was about 2.5' long.

Yes, works like a charm! I noticed it immediately. Much better musical response. Now, i'm sure that not only upping to 4g did it (it did help, i'm sure), but it's gotta be because of having dual AGM (suck) fuses.

Well, my amp is fused at 60a, and I had a single 80a AGM in before -with the 8g. When I upped to 4g, I just stuck a 60a in the added holder. I will match them with 40's later.
