I just installed an aftermarket radio on this 97 Dodge Ram with Infinity system, but I don't get any bass.   I'm assuming the door speakers have a factory amp attached to them and I am over looking the factory amp remote wire.

If this is the case, would it be wise to use a line out converter?

And, what color is the factory amp remote wire?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks ahead.

Did you purchase a wiring harness for the vehicle?  If so the amp turn on wire will probably be blue in color and it will be labeled power antenna.  If your new radio has a blue and a blue/white wire, connect the blue/white of the radio to the blue wire of the harness you purchased.

Thanks I Am An Idiot...i am an idiot because I had overlooked the fact that this truck might have contained an external amp.  I remember looking for an automatic antenna, but its not automatic.  I should have followed the blue wire from the harness and noticed there was a connection on the other side.

All in all, I had gone back and attached it like u said 'i am an idiot', and it all worked like a champ.

Thanks to all,
