Iam looking to buy the MA AUDIO HK4000d to run two 18" fi btl's.The manual for the amp says it draws 400 amps .What would be some ways to get my electrical system to put out 400 amps. it is going to be installed in a 1988 chevy caprice.

Mobile Authority amplifiers are very over-rated and not recommended, but to answer your question, a 400-amp alternator generally means a custom multiple alternator setup.  I highly recommend talking to a local auto electrical shop about this.
