I've got a ton of settings on all my stuff and i've messed around trying to find the sound that i want, but i just can't seem to find anything that i'm happy with (preferably something good for rock). Then i thought, hey..why not ask the guys on the12volt.com! lol..so here it goes

My gear: component and coaxial //Alpine type-r's, 600.4 alpine v-power, 2 kicker L5's (10's), 850.2 kicker amp, 5 farad cap, and an 8000bt pioneer HU

specs...

HU:

Bassboost 0-6

Hp filter 50,63,80,100,125

Sla 0-4

eq adjust (-6-6) 50hz,125hz, 315hz, 800hz, 2khz, 5khz,12.5khz

Loundness: lows, mids, or highs

Sub w1 normal/reverse

Sub w2 (-24-6) 50z, 63hz, 80hz, 100hz, 125hz

Amp for my subs

x-over: 50-200

gain 0-11 (i know how you're SUPPOSED to set this..but i don't have anywhere to go to crank it up without getting a violation)

bassboost 0-11

Amp for speakers

Filter: HP, LP, off

Crossover: 50, 60, 75, 100, 150, 250, 400

bass eq: on, off

Gain: min, (three notches), and then something labeled "mom", o.5v, (one notch), and max

I don't know if i'm asking the impossible because you're not here to hear the speakers or if you can just rattle off what i should have my settings on. I thought i knew some stuff about car audio until i read the threads you guys post on here lol..so i'm hoping ya'll can help me with this :) thanks!

Please begin by reading the "How to set your gains" sticky post and following those instructions.

You don't have a place to go?  You don't need any special place.  If you're worried it might get too loud for your neighbors, drive to a large parking lot, or out of town, or better yet to a local car audio shop and get some assistance.
