Hello,

I have a chrysler 2005 300c and i'm trying to put an amp and sub using a line out converter to use the factory radio , but i  have the premium sound and I've heared that i cannot use the two 6x9's in the back because the bass from factory goes to the front speakers nad not the back, although there is three speaker in the back the two 6x9's and a 61/2 in the middle that i beleive is for bass;does anyone know into which speakers can i tap in order to get the right setup for the line out into the converter please...thanks for ur help..

If it were me, I would tap behind the radio. I would guess that you could turn the treble adjustment all the way down, and fade front to rear and listen to which set of speakers gave the most bass.

If it has the infiniti sound in it you probably won't be able to tag the wires behind the radio because the volume is controlled through the amp, not the head unit, so when you turn the volume to 0 you get nothing and volume 1-max you will get everything. It needs to be tagged on a speaker wire after the amp. I know it's like that on the trucks with the infiniti but not 100% sure about the cars.

shultz is right.  On infinity systems it is controlled by the amplifiier.  The other problem is that the amp's crossover has a high-pass filter at about 40hz.  So no matter what speaker you tap into, you're missing a lot of bass.
