2 amps and capacitater?

i have 3 rockford fosgate subs and a capacitater 1 farad. i'm trying to hook up 2 amps. the problem i'm having is it sounds louder with only one of the amps connected. why? can anyone tell me the correct way to hook this up?

On the amps do you want the amps plugged to the three subs or one to the interior speakers and the subs explain on the cap it must be wired before the amp best done wit a distro block

Please list EXACT part's to your system

2 amps.....? what amps?

3 subs.....what subs?

The cap..... it doesn't really matter, this is a waste of money!

the amps are a 760 pioneer and a 1200 watt sony xplod. the subs are 2 rockford fosgate p3d412s and a ti 12 4ohm. i want to hook up the 2 p3s to one and the t1 to the other

It's capacitor, not "capacitator."  Dump it, you don't need it.  If you lose apparent SPL by adding power and or speakers, you most likely have a phase mismatch in either the amplifier setups or the loudspeaker connections.
