I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for my problem....I am putting in an Alpine 7869 (2000) model.... and I cant get any sound out of my speakers... I dont think that there are any amps in this system... all it is a 4 speaker setup... Email me if you have any suggetstions.  I am using a metra 77-5600 wiring harness....

Without looking at the vehicle, (and you did not indicate premium sound or not), the harness you need is a 70-1771. Usually, you have to power the amp lead on the Metra harness with the remote out on the Alpine.

Good luck

You said you're using the 77-5600....did you mean the 70-5600?   And when you did the connections, did you use all the wires on both plugs?  Or did one of them not fit the plugs already in the car?

Thanks for the replies... And I figured it out as soon as I posted this message... It was the remote turn on lead connected to the power antenna lead from the metra harness
