13.8vdc 25 amp power supply

Would this power supply be enough to power a CD head unit, 4 6x9s, Scanner, CB radio, 2 12 volt cooling fans, some auxillary 12 volt connections, etc? What all can I power with this? Also what would be the best way to set up, basically an in car set up, in my room. Any recommendations or opinions would be appreciated.

Not very likely. The deck will be 10 to 12A (full tilt, sure, but still), the scanner will be a couple to 5, the CB will pull 3 to 5 continuous (10A inrush on key), the fans are about 1/2A each, "some auxiliary 12 volt connections" could be anything... I'd look for something in the 40A range, just to be safe. 12+5+5+1 is 23A. Not much buffer, and I didn't even figure that with the inrush or the "some auxiliary 12 volt connections". Even at the low end, it's still 16A, without auxiliary loads.

Most devices have their current draw on them - add them up - that will be the only way to tell for sure.

I've seen decks that draw almost no power at all to decks that need 10awg wire ran to them.  The same goes for CBs and scanners can be anywhere.  The only way to answer the question accurately is to check the equipment you have (or want) and go from there.

A 25A power supply is pretty beefy, as long as you don't go crazy it should get you by.

I just got an Astron VS-50M a few weeks ago and I love it so far - if you are looking to buy a new (or used) supply you can't go wrong with Astron.
