I have 6 speakers Im looking to run on a hifonics brutus amp 1606 using the low pass filter. I have 2 12" dual voice coil subs and 4 Bazooka 8" 2 ways that can be bi amped. I wanna run the 8" single voice coil speakers off the same brutus amp. I will use another amp for the highs
Can I wire the 2 12" in parallel then wire out to the 4 8" speakers in series so that the amp will handle it ohms.
Any suggestions on the best way to wire this amp is 1ohm stable mono
Welcome to the forum. It's not enough just to plan to achieve a satisfactory load on an amplifier; you must also plan to provide reasonably accurate sound reproduction. Using two twelves and four eights to play the same subwoofer freq range will very likely provide poor results. Do you just want to use up all the speakers in the garage or what is the reason for this plan?

This is a marine application with lots of speakers and 4 of them are bi ampable.
I have a box that has the 2 12" dual voice coil subs and a tower that has 4 - 4 way speakers the 4 speaker units are bi-ampable.
4 tower speakers highs needing a 2 channel amp then needing to amp the 8" woofers
I also have:
4 other speakers 2 front and two rear needing a 4 channel amp
I am trying to see if I can get away with using just the one big amp for the 2 12"s and the 4 8"s or do I have to have yet one more amp
unfortunately you won't be able to use one amp for all the subs. There are two issues you'll run into. In your application, you'll need every last ounce of bass from your 2-12's, and you'll need to match the output of the 8's and the tweets in the tower.
One other problem you'll run into is that you have to wire up all your 12's and 8's to make sure you have a balanced load. If your final impedance of the 8's are different from the 12's, then the power will not be balanced between the two systems.
I've worked on tons of boats, and I've tried what you are doing in a real world application. I had a customer with a single 10' and twin tower speakers that were bi-ampable. The same scenario you are doing, but a smaller system. He had a few amps he wanted to re-use and after insisting that he purchase new amps or rethink his idea, I ended up installing the amps just like you are attempting. The result: HORRIBLE sound. I spent a few hours trying to tune the amps to make it work and I could only get one of two results. Either the bass was non-existant, but the towers sounded decent, or the bass was strong but the towers sounded like "pip fartin' on a snare drum"
You're best bet is to use a seperate amp for the towers and one for the subs.
