2 amps one speaker

need hep whats the best way two wire the amps to the speaker they told me to take a positive from one amp and a negative from the other amp and take the negative and positive and put them together can i do that

NO! unless the amp is "strappable", you WILL fry it.

There are two ways, and two ways ONLY to connect two amplifiers to one speaker:

Strappable amplifiers - both amps to a single coil
Dual voice coil woofer - one amp to each coil

Attempt anything else, and SOMETHING will give, and in a pretty spectacular way!

Ok but both amps are 1100 at one ohm stable but my speaker is dual 2 ohm voice coil will i get the full 1100 watt. The speaker is a orion 12 hcca dvc 2 ohm each

No. But one amp at 1 ohm will make the SAME power as two amps at 2 ohms. In fact, since FEW amplifiers actually DOUBLE their total output when halving the impedance like that (from 550 at 2 ohms to 1100 at 1 ohm), it is quite likely that you will get a few more watts with one amp per coil. Likely the amps are a bit more than 550 watts, loaded at 2 ohms. What amps are they?

I PROMISE you, you will never notice the difference in output, as it will likely be well less than one half of one dB...
