Hi, i got a 1998 Chevrolet cavalier.
My System
Amp: Pioneer GM-7400M 400 Watt RMS at 2 Ohms
Sub: Pioneer TS-W257D4 10" 350 Watt RMS at 2 Ohms
Headunit: Sony Xplod CDX-GT220
Sub wired in 2 Ohms
Eq Custom
Low -6
Mid +0
Hi +6
Sub +9
The problem is.. when i put a good bass song and i put the volume more than 28 (Max is 34) the sub stop and come back but the amp still doesnt stop or flash . The light on the amp always blue and never change.. And the car is running when i do that.. What the problem ? Lack of power???

Could be many things including a defective woofer, but the most common issues causing this are 1) amp gain too high, 2) woofer impedance too low, 3) power issues including alternator overload or bad ground. I suggest starting by reading and following the "How to set your gain" thread. ------------- Support the12volt.com

Well, i alternator have 1 year and my battery have 3 days , but i think its the ground because my ground its the antena.. i have screwed it on the antena screw

Ground now good . Direct on frame.. Alternator and battery are new, woofer and amp have only 2 days
