I have a 2ohm stable amp. Would it hurt it, if I hooked my subs up in a 1 ohm mono-bridged set up? It's a power acoustic Amp. So I don't really care if I blow it, I'll just buy a better amp. Just curious?
if it don't matter if it blows up, then why are you asking? <jk> if it ain't 1ohm stable it will probably not turn on anyway.
Your amp is 2 Ohms stereo stable. Which is 4 Ohms mono stable. I would not even try it.

i run 3 10's at a 1.3 ohm load, i just blew a 1000w power acoustik, but it was old.. and now i got a 1000w alpine that runs just fine @ 1.3 ohm load... and the spec sheet says 2 ohm stable but ive only had it a few days now, its prolly not good for the amp but 3 10's sounds so much better than 2 in my car, i will prolly be hooking up a diff amp soon tho to the 3rd sub and just run 2 with the amp i got now to avoid problems... so if your amp turns on it will work, but if the amp is old it will more than likely blow.
what setup are u using
I'm running 2 10" kicker cvrs, but I also have 2 12" Digital audio subs that I might put in later on, if I feel the need for more bass. The power acoustic amp is 740w rms. 1600w max. I guess I will just run them at a 4 ohm bridged load to keep from having any problems. Since its not gonna make more power anyways at a 1 ohm load.
