i did an install on this car and eveything went great except the airbag light is now on does anyone know how it can be reset?

any help is appreciated

#1 mistake while doing dubs: never turn ignition key on while an airbag (ie door panel) or cluster is disconnected. You'll have to take it to a dealer with a VAG tool.

Looks like there is no way for you to do it. A relatively thorough search of the internet on google didn't turn up much of anything useful beyond 2001, and even those require a tool... Hello, VW dealer! (Most Japanese manufacturers have a plug in the dash to allow you to reset it without a trip to the dealer - which is why I started searching anyway.)
