the factory radio uses the u shaped release tools to go through holes in radio face.
Eclipse only includes screws how do I secure new unit?

If that deck is a single din size chassis, the installation kit listed below should do the trick for you.  If the deck is a double din unit, some fabrication is in order.

Most manufacturers supply an optional mounting sleeve for their double din units.  You may need to check with your Eclipse dealer.

Eclipse does not make a sleeve for their double din units.  Custom fab is in order.

hi,

did you remove the dash bezel also?..you may have to trim the radio opening (upper and lower edges) in order for the face of the headunit to open properly.  cover the lower edge of the dash by the bezel with masking tape, it scratches rather easily.  once the bezel is off, you'll notice that the dash itself extends forward deeper into the radio opening.  you can drill into this plastic and have the holes line up with the threaded holes in the headunit.  then bolt the headunit in place.  may take a trip to the hardware store for some metric screws/bolts and washers (M5-0.8 thread)

hope this helps

And use the shortest screw possible.
