Have a clarion VRX935VD and wanted to be verify if by grounding the (green-green <parking brake>) lead that DVD's would play without having the parking brake on.....or is there another way of bypassing the parking brake.

if you want to bypass it, connect it to a ground. it will work.  i would connect it to a switch - connected to a ground, this way if you get pulled over, just flip the switch!

You have it correct if you wire it to a ground you can bypass the parking brake.
