ok, a few months ago I installed 4 speakers and an amp in his 08 Civic Hybrid. I put the amp under the drivers seat and like a idiot I turned the ignition ON before puttig the seat back in.

This of course trips the check engine light (the little wrench in the gauge cluster). Ok,was no big deal - got it reset and the customer was cool about it.

Customer came back and I installed a plug-n-play HD radio/iPod interface. This time I made very sure to get everything plugged back in and reassembled before I turned the ign on. Now the check engine light and the airbag lights are on.

The dealer comes back saying that I cut an airbag wire. How the hell did I do that on a plug-n-play install??

In taking the dash and radio out of the vehicle, I did have to disconnect the passengers airbag ON/OFF indicator. Would doing this throw a code? I'm confused as to how this happened??

Yes, the passenger light can trip the SRS sensor. I would definitely ask the dealer what exactly it was. If nothing else, this will help you avoid the problem in the future.
