Im trying to install an alpine cd player in a 99 chevy tahoe, but I ran into a problem, the ignition/switched power wire doesn't have any power when I turn the key on. I got the wiring harness from crutchfield so its the red wire, and behind the harness its not hot either. Could this be a relay or what? If so, which relay? No blown fuses either.
Thanks

You may have accidently shorted this wire. These are sometimes fused with a fusible link or another fuse location and not the radio fuse. I am not sure of the exact placement of this fuse you could try the fuse box in the engine bay sometimes its there. Otherwise just go to the ignition harness and tap into the brown wire.
