I can wire my subs in series so that they run @ 8ohms and then bridge my amp on them?Basically is it safe to run my amp at 8ohms even though it bridges to 4ohms?I'm assuming it will be because I am going up in ohms and not dropping below the recommended.Just less power I suppose.Just need to know for sure though?

Yes. It is ALWAYS safer and perfectly usable to run an amplifier at a higher impedance. A higher impedance is actually less load, therefore less distortion, less heat, and better efficiency. The difference in power will be barely noticeable, also. Generally less than 3dB difference.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Haempyst hit it on the head........All  of the aboved mentioned will also extend the amplifiers longevity.
